The ways of God

1 Corinthians 1:25, “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”

One of the things I discovered early in my christian walk is that God’s ways are not ours (Isaiah 55:8,9)- You must be ready to look and act ‘foolish’ in your walk of faith to make progress. The spiritual realm is more real than the physical albeit we can’t see nor feel so many things. The air we breathe can’t be seen but we won’t be alive without it, God can’t be seen but nothing can exist without him because in him we live and have our existence.

Jesus must have looked crazy when he spoke to the tree because it was unconventional, he must have looked silly when he told the sea to calm down and relax; however, he was only manifesting after his father our God. The bible records in the second chapter of Jonah how God spoke to the fish to vomit Jonah (Jonah 2:10).

One of the discoveries that changed my life forever is the day I discovered from the living word,’ there is a way that seemeth right to a man but the end thereof are the ways of death.’ (Proverbs 14:12). The Spirit of the lord is saying to the church, ‘good things don’t necessarily mean the right thing.’ There could be things that look good but not the right one for you. There are careers that look nice but not the right one for you, there are ladies that look hot with all the favorable stats but not the right partner for you. Similarly, there are ‘ready made’ fine guys that may not be the will of God for your life.

While it is a truism the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the lord- It is the righteous man that seeks to know the plans and purpose of God for his life that will be led because everyone that ask will receive guidance (Mathew 7:8).

Seek to know the plans and purpose of God for your life in the place of prayer and in the study of the word (Jeremiah 33:3).

Good morning, hope you’re enjoying the break
