Your mess – Your message

2 Corinthians 1:4:” Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”

We’re not immune from challenges or difficulties in life because we have Jesus. It could actually mean you’ll face more challenges because of your stand for God. I have heard people profess how things have become more difficult for them since they gave their lives to Christ. For the sake of clarity, God hasn’t called anyone to oppression but liberation. His yoke is easy and his burden is light.  Having said that, the believer is a prime target of the enemy because of his 3 fold mandate to steal, kill or destroy (John 10:10).

We often make mistakes of varying proportions because we,re not perfect. The greatest of men have committed the biggest of blunders in the world. Peter denied Jesus 3 times and he was devastated, dejected and depressed. However Jesus knew he would betray him before the betrayal. Consequently, Jesus made a provision for Peter to recover fully and strengthen his friends and other people who may experience difficulty in the same area.

Luke 22:31-32. Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have you, that he might sift you as wheat: but I made supplication for thee, that thy faith fail not; and do thou, when once thou hast turned again, establish thy brethren.

Peter failed but he recovered from the heartbreak with a renewed zeal and strength to encourage others in similar situations.

Hebrews 5:2: “Who can bear gently with the ignorant and erring, for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.”

It’s easy for a former drug addict to minister to a drug addict; its easy for Joyce Meyer to minister to those sexually abused because she’s been down that road. No experience in your life is a waste, God wants you to share your story and help others.

Dont wait any longer.

Praise God!
